The main reason for my trip to Poundland was to try out the new Jess Wright beauty range, as I'd seen her products on so many Poundland hauls on YouTube and was intrigued by her tanning range. The Instant Tan and Gradual Tans are only in shade medium so I didn't pick those up as I thought they may be too dark, and they didn't have any of her false nails set in my store but I managed to pick up everything else.
Firstly I picked up these 3 In 1 Cleansing Wipes which I was pleasantly surprised to see were cruelty free and vegan. There are 25 in a pack and claim to even remove waterproof mascara.
The other pack of wipes I got were the Gradual Tanning Wipes in the shade Medium. I'm not sure if I've been living under a rock, but tanning wipes are a whole new concept to me and I'm so intrigued to see how they work! The tan should develop in 3-6 hours, and like the other wipes they are again cruelty free and vegan.
The last tanning product I chose from her range was the Tanning Mitt. The mitt is hypo-allergenic and has a foam like feel to it. It is quite thin, but feels good quality for the price.
I've been obsessed with sheet masks lately, and when I saw the Vitamin C Tissue Mask, I knew I had to try it. It is suitable for all skin types, and after just 15 minutes it should make your skin look healthier and feel more hydrated.
I've never been a fan of any of the perfumes scents Poundland have brought out, so I wasn't expecting much from the Jess Wright range. It's called With Love, and smells so good! It's pretty long lasting throughout the day, and the bottle is a great size to pop in your handbag for top ups.
The last product I picked up from her range was a pair of false eyelashes. All 4 of the lashes in the range are very fluffy looking and definitely don't look cheap or plasticky. I went for the most natural looking ones called Baby Doll, but I'll definitely pick up the others if I like these after trying them!
Moving away from the Jess Wright Range, I also picked up the MistMe Beauty Pump. I absolutely love the idea of this as whether its toner, or nail polish I always end up using too much on a cotton pad or just knocking the bottle over and spilling it everywhere... You just fill the bottle up with whichever liquid you like, and push the pump down to soak the cotton pad so you only get the amount you really need! The cap locks aswell, so it's perfect for travelling too.
I always hate the feeling of putting on face masks with my fingers, it never spreads evenly and always gets underneath your nails and just gets messy. This Face Mask Brush is exactly what I've been looking for, and has the added bonus of cruelty free bristles.
When I saw that Poundland had vegan friendly face masks - I couldn't resist giving them a try! I picked up two flavours; Kale and Avocado & Oats, I can't wait to try them - keep your eyes peeled for a review!
Lastly, I picked up a bottle of Micellar Water Bath and Shower Gel, in the scent Honey and Green Tea. They had a few different scents, but I loved the smell of this one. It's a really good size for just £1 too!
Until next time,
