Hello everyone! Welcome to my first official post as A Little Disney Dust! I'm so excited to be blogging more about what I love and I hope you love it too! As some of you may be new here, I thought I'd start with a little Disney tag to get to know me better. I searched the internet and chose the first one that popped up so here goes...
Favourite Disney Film?
This is such a hard question - is a cheating to have a little list?! My favourites are definitely Tangled, Frozen, Beauty and The Beast (both live action and animated!), Toy Story (all of them!) and Aladdin. I also loveee Star Wars and the Marvel films - Guardians of The Galaxy, Captain America - Winter Soldier, Spiderman: Far From Home and Avengers: Endgame are my favourites but I love them all!
Favourite Disney Character?
As I can see questions coming up about favourite princesses, villains and sidekicks I'm going to choose ones that don't come under those! My favourite characters to meet in the parks are Donald Duck and Chip and Dale - they always make me laugh and I used to love watching Rescue Rangers when I was younger. I also have major love for Bucky and Hawkeye in the Marvel films.
Favourite Disney Princess?
Hands down, my favourite princess is Belle, always has been! I also love Rapunzel, Anna and Jasmine too.
Favourite Disney Sidekick?
There's so many amazing ones! Olaf and Sven are the funniest side kicks and I am obsessed with them! I also love Timon and Pumba, Mushu, Genie, Lefou and all of the Hundred Acre Wood crew.
Favourite Disney Song?
This changes every week but at the moment my faves are I'll Make A Man Out Of You from Mulan, and Go The Distance from Hercules and Evil Like Me from The Descendants.
Which Disney Character Would Be Your Best Friend?
This is such a hard question! I think I'd have to say Minnie! She's sweet but sassy and always has the most amazing outfits!
Who Would Be Your Disney Pet?
It would have to be Pluto - I think he would be a bit chaotic but I think it would be so much fun!
Have You Ever Been To Disneyland?
I've been lucky enough to go to Disneyland Paris twice, once in 2018 for my 18th birthday with my boyfriend and again in 2019 with my family. I also went to Walt Disney World back in 2005 so I don't remember too much! But we do have a trip booked for WDW September 2021 which I honestly can't wait for!
Who Is Your Disney Alter Ego?
I wasn't too sure about this so I did a quiz and I got Nala! 'You really are a true friend. Your friends love everything about you. People love how amazingly nice and helpful you are.You never fail to help your friends out when they need you. People also love your courage and determination. So go out into the world and put a smile on people's faces. After all... Thats what your best at!'
Favourite Disney Villian?
I love Gaston (probably a bit too much..) and my aim is to meet him in Walt Disney World! I also love Lotso and Kylo Ren.
Do You Collect Anything Disney Wise?
I collect pins - I am slightly obsessed and can never resist them! I have a big collection on a pin board and I love looking at them! I also love collecting the Disney Store Keys, and Disney Mugs.
What Disney Film Would You Star In If You Could?
Oooh, there's so many I think would be so much fun! I think I would have to say Descendants - I love the songs, and the outfits! Or MJ in the Spiderman films because Tom Holland... *heart eyes*
How Old Were You When You Watched Your First Disney Film?
I'm honestly not sure what the first film that I saw would be, but I have memories of watching Aladdin and Toy Story over and over again with my brother on VHS! Probably from the age of 3 or 4 maybe?
What Do You Love About Disney?
Where to start? As a child I loved Disney for the princess dresses, and all the funny cartoons. As I got older, I started to move away from Disney and wasn't overly fussed by it apart from some of the films, but not in a way where I'd re-watch them over and over. I think I got to the age of about 13/14 and was in a really bad place with anxiety and school pressures and reignited my love for it. The films bring me so much joy, and whenever I'm doing something Disney related whether it's listening to songs, watching films or Disney vlogs or being in the magical parks it brings a place of escapism and all the stress and worry just fades away for a little while. The Disney community is also such a happy place and everyone is so friendly. It may all sound very cheesy but Disney makes me happy.
Who Is Your Favourite Disney Couple?
There's so many amazing couples; Belle and Beast, Anna and Kristoff, Mickey and Minnie, Ariel and Eric, Thor and Jane but I just love Rapunzel and Flynn- the lantern scene will always be one of my absolute favourites!
