Stranger Things and Topshop? Sounds like an unexpected but pretty cool combination to me, and the trip to their flagship store in London's Oxford Street did not disappoint.
In the busy streets and horrible weather, the transformed shop front looked even more mysterious and eerie, and looked amazing. The shop window had been completely changed into the iconic sitting room of the Byer's, complete with the infamous fairy lights and alphabet scrawled on the wall.
In the other shop window was a interactive Hawkins lab manned with actors testing your telekinetic powers (but the queue was so longgg..)
Inside the store was Hawkins High Lockers, including a shrine to Barb (still not over it, #JusticeforBarb). There was also The Arcade complete with vintage video games you could get tokens for by showing your receipt.
My favourite part was Castle Byers complete with blasting music of The Clash's 'Should I Stay or Should I Go', film posters and messy bed.
Also definitely wanting to recreate the Stranger Things themed pumpkins! The attention to detail in each part was incredible and it was such a cool thing to experience as well as it being a special limited time only thing.
I couldn't not buy something from their collaboration (even though I wanted to buy everything) so I decided on the grey jumper with the Stranger Things logo, as it's so warm and oversized (perfect for cozying up to binge watch Netflix in). At the till, I got given the limited edition tote bag and plenty of stickers, badges and keyrings which are all awesome.
If you're a fan of Stranger Things, definitely go check it out before the 31st October.
Becci x
