I absolutely love decorations, give me any season or occasion and I'll go crazy with lights, candles, food and little ornaments throughout the house. Halloween is one of those seasons where you can go a little over the top, or be a bit more subtle, and still make it look effective. I used to love having parties, and going crazy with fake cobwebs, animated statues and fake blood in every corner of the house but now I love more simple decorations and having film nights with seasonal mugs and cute pumpkin decorations.
So here's my slightly less gory, more classic Halloween wish list this year!
Mugs / Glasses
I think I have a mug obsession... but it never stops me from buying more! I like having mugs for different times of year or celebrations as it feels more seasonal, and having Halloween glasses to make cocktails in just feels a little more spooky!
Tableware
Recently, I've been loving experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes and I especially love cooking or baking with seasonal ingredients and flavours. I love planning themed food nights, and turning normal food into themes and having platters and trays to share it on.
