One of my favourite things to do in Winter is curl with a hot cup of tea/hot chocolate and lose myself in a good book. I love Christmassy chick lit books that make you feel all cozy and Christmassy inside. Here's a few of my picks for this year, hope you enjoy!
The Christmas Promise by Sue Moorcroft - Not gonna lie, I did buy this book just for the gorgeous cover, but it sounds so cozy and romantic too.
The Winter Wedding by Abby Clements - I've actually sat down and read a couple of her books in just one afternoon so I can't wait to start this one!
Christmas At The Cupcake Cafe by Jenny Colgan - This is a sequel to Meet Me At The Cupcake Cafe which I haven't read, but at the start of this book there's a little 'catch up section' telling you what happened. It also has little recipes, like gingerbread, throughout the book which I thinks so cute!
A Christmas Feast by Katie Fforde - I love this book for reading just before bed as it's full of little short stories - all different lengths to fill the time you have.
I also love reading Christmas magazines and getting inspiration for food, decorations, gifts and everything else. They're so lovely to flick through while taking a break from wrapping presents or while gingerbreads baking in the oven.
The book I'm absolutely loving at the moment is Tanya Burr's Christmas. It's full of amazing recipies, tips on party planning, DIY's and pictures and anecdotes from her childhood Christmas'.
Hope you enjoyed this post!
