Top 10 Christmas Films

There's no better way to get into the Christmas spirit then sitting down to watch a Christmas film..(or two). There's so many amazing, cheesy and funny films to choose from and I found it so hard to narrow it down to 10, but these are the ones I watch every single year without fail.

Love Actually - Probably my favourite Christmas film. I remember the first time I watched this, and I've loved it ever since. Its cast contains so many amazing actors, and it's the perfect Christmas rom-com.

Elf - Probably the cheesiest Christmas film going, but it's still amazing. Any film with Will Ferrell in it is a hit for me but Elf is definitely his best.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas - I actually only watched this for the first time last year but I instantly loved it. It's so wacky and funny and a family favourite.

The Holiday - Similar to Love Actually - another cozy Christmas rom-com. Every year it makes me laugh/cry/smile, I love watching this while wrapping presents on Christmas Eve.

The Polar Express - The perfect Christmas Eve film which makes you feel the magic of Christmas.

Christmas With The Kranks - My favourite Christmas comedy: with a family that has everything go wrong at Christmas time.   

Gavin and Stacey Christmas Special - Not technically a Christmas film but Gavin and Stacey is one of my favourite TV shows and their Christmas special is hilarious.

Nativity - The first one is my favourite but I love all 3. Each one has a different amazing main male actor to switch it up, and they're the best choice to watch if you need a Christmas laugh.

Mickey Once Upon A Christmas - I've watched these short films every year since being a kid and I can't not watch them at Christmas. I love Disney, but for me Christmas officially feels like Christmas once I've watched them.

The Santa Clause 1,2 and 3 - More Tim Allen films, but I love this Christmas trilogy. Perfect for all ages, but not 'kiddy' or too cheesy either.
