As you might have already guessed from my other Blogmas posts, am I slightly obsessed with Christmas. I saw this tag going around last year, as well as this year so I knew I had to give it a go! I love reading them and finding out what everyone else loves about Christmas!
What's your favourite Christmas movie?
This is the hardest question! There's so many I love to watch every year but it doesn't feel like Christmas until I've watched The Holiday. But as a family we always watch Polar Express on Christmas Eve and I love that too!
Have you ever had a White Christmas?
Sadly not, I'd love for it to snow on Christmas but living on the south coast means we hardly get snow and if we do it's never a lot!
What's your favourite Christmas song?
There's so many amazing Christmas songs, it's so hard to choose, but the one song that makes me feel the most festive is Christmas by Michael Buble.
Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?
Nope! We never have done, but our tradition is to put everyone's presents under the tree on Christmas Eve.
What holiday traditions are you looking forward to this year?
This weekend I'm going to Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park for this first time and I'm so excited! I'm hoping it can be a new tradition for us. Also, we love to have a party food buffet and games evening on Christmas Eve.
Is your Christmas Tree real of fake?
Fake, I've never had a real Christmas Tree even though I'd love to one day!
Which your favourite Christmas treat/food?
Since being vegan I love to make sure I don't miss out at Christmas! My favourite Christmas treats have to be those frozen party food Churros but I also love anything gingerbread. If we're talking Christmas dinner - it has to be the roast potatoes!
Be honest. Do you prefer giving or receiving gifts?
Opening something special and being treated is obviously a lovely feeling but I love giving presents, especially when it's something personal that you've put a lot of thought into.
What's the best Christmas present you've ever received?
It's the little things I always remember most, when I was younger I used to love opening my stocking. It was always filled with little goodies and chocolates but the memories of climbing into my parents room and opening it always sticks with me.
What's your dream place to visit for the holiday season?
I'd love to go to New York in the future, I think it would be so magical. I'd also love to spend Christmas in Disneyland Paris or Disney World Florida as I feel like it would be incredible to see the parks on Christmas Day!
Are you a pro present wrapper or do you fail miserably?
Somewhere in between! I love making presents look pretty with ribbons, and bows and decorations but the actual wrapping itself, is sometimes a bit of a flop!
What's your most memorable Christmas memory?
I think we try to make every Christmas special as it's the one time of year where everyone's together. I think as you get older and with me being the youngest in my family at 18, it's never quite as magical as it was as kids but I find every year, there's something that makes it memorable.
What makes the holidays special for you?
It sounds cheesy but it has to be spending quality family time together. I love sitting round in front of the tree watching everyone open presents, sitting round eating amazing food and drinks and just switching off from work, social media and just relaxing!
