Today is my last day of Blogmas! I've loved doing it this year, and I thought I would round it off with a post about all of my favourite Christmas things!
One of my favourite things to do is try all the new festive drinks around. My favourite this year has been the Gingerbread Hot Chocolate from Costa which was amazing. (How cute are this years cups though?)
I also love to bake. Shortbread, gingerbread, cookies, anything Christmassy and festive. Experimenting with different flavours like cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger into sweet things is always fun, and bonus - it makes the house smell amazing while it's baking too!
There's no better feeling than curling up on the sofa in a big cosy blanket with the Christmas tree on and all the other lit up decorations! (Having to take them down in January is the worst though!)
There's always so many different parties and events over the Christmas period, whether it's family and friends or work related, it gives the perfect excuse to dress up and add a bit of sparkle to your outfits!
I love buying gifts for people, and I love it when all the shops bring out there Christmas ranges instore and online with pages and pages to scroll through. I can sit there for hours and happily plan everyone's gifts - I'm definitely not a Christmas Eve shopper!
I wish Christmas lights could be up all year round....or at least as soon as the nights start getting darker. They make all the roads look brighter and cheerier, and uplift everyone's spirits! Houses always look better when they're covered in lights!
Ultimately the most special thing for me is spending Christmas Day with family. I'm so grateful that I get to spend my Christmas with my parents, brother, grandparents and my boyfriend, and that it's the one time of year that everyone is happy, care-free and full of laughter.
